Give the Gift of Opportunity
Please help support U-TOUCH to provide computers for the new U-TOUCH Business Center in Gulu, Uganda. To become self-sustainable, U-TOUCH is creating a business center offering printing, scanning and advanced computer training, which will generate income to support free computer training at our five U-TOUCH Digital Library Centers in Uganda.
With your help the young men and women of rural Uganda will have access to the Internet and learn in-depth computer and job related skills to gain employment and become independent.
Please reblog this post to help us reach our goal!

U-TOUCH is honored to have been invited to showcase our project recently at #InternationalYouthDay in Mokono, Uganda. It was a special day where U-TOUCH graduates were able to share about their new jobs with youth seeking employment. There was overwhelming support from the youth and a uniform interest in expanding the centers across the country! http://on.fb.me/1asjtR3
Congratulations Elimu Michael!
During Elimu Michael’s summer break of 2011 he registered for his first course on computer technology and acquired technology training in ICT, job skills, and health education with U-TOUCH. Michael loved his new adventure so much that he registered for a major in physics technology at his university. He became so inspired and hungry for further study in technology that he submitted his innovative ideas to the Google Ambassadorship program. After sharing with Google his innovation of the individual identification color-coding system for Google docs, he was selected to be a Google Ambassador and flown to Kenya for the Nairobi Summit with 116 other African student colleagues. Michael’s hard work and innovation was highly rewarded and we are proud to be part of his incredible story! http://on.fb.me/14lQZnP
